About Estilo

Estilo in Rancho Mirage, California, offers many options for luxury living and convenience. Located between Bob Hope Drive and Victory drive, this gated community is in the heart of some of the area’s best shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Built by Toll Brothers, this development has four single-story floor plans with exterior architecture that features contemporary, mid-century modern, and desert contemporary. Each home has grand foyers, great rooms, and soaring ceilings. And custom options include exterior patios, a casita, dramatic fireplaces, charming courtyard, covered entry, cozy den, and solar power. Depending on the floor plan there are also kitchens with large islands and walk-pantries. Many homes have bonus rooms and a luxurious master bedroom and bath. The estate-style lots average over 15,000 square feet. Public schools that serve this area include Della S. Lindley Elementary, Nellie N. Coffman Middle School, and Cathedral City High School.

There are many hiking and biking trails nearby and many golf courses and tennis courts within minutes. Residents are close to I-10 and the activities of Rancho Mirage. You’ll find some of the best shopping in the nation with places like The River and its many restaurants and theaters. Close by is the well-known El Paseo Drive which has been compared to Rodeo Drive of Beverly Hills. Rancho Mirage is one of nine cities in Coachella Valley and is situated between Palm Desert and Cathedral Desert.

Rancho Mirage was settled back in the 1920’s and 1930’s but didn’t gain notoriety until after World War II. Many stars and dignitaries were attracted to the Annenberg Estate or Sunnylands which was owned by Walter and Leonore Anneberg. The guest list of the philanthropists included Bob Hope, Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, and even Queen Elizabeth II. Years later Gerald Ford purchased a Rancho Mirage home and it was here that he was at the time of his death. Other presidential visitors included Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan.
